Regrettably I've not reproduced this issue at out end.
Could you please upload for us your input MKV file to e.g. Google drive with 15 Gb free space.

According editing MP4 files - please specify more detailed what problem with output file you get. Do you see artefacts, async or something else?

With HD Bluray quality .mkv files I can't seem to add them to the timeline and if it does add to timeline (which takes an endless amount of time,btw)
while splitting a 1 minute clip I get stuck on the "Now splitting the sequence" screen for what seems like forever and I end up having to cancel because it's been ten minutes or more just to get a 1 minute clip.
Also certain .mp4 files do slpit, but the quality for whatever reason seems to look like it was not process correctly, looks kind of like videos you download to watch, but were not uploaded correctly . Any help?

Hi Olga,

the timeline bug works even with no file loaded. Just narrow the space for the timeline, till it crashes the app...
Grab the line under the volume control with left mouse and draw down, till it crashes..

Yes, Video Splitter still have the standard height of the timeline after restart.

Please send us screenshot of how you change the timeline. Is there any file opened in the timeline?
If yes, please send us also these file, you can upload it e.g. Google drive or Dropbox.com.

in Version "SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_Home_Edition_6_1_1701_9_Beta.exe"
the timeline bug still occurs. Also if you narrow the timeline to near zero height, the app still crashes.

Any News on this old bugs?

  А если Solveig использует свои декодеры, разве это не перекодировка?
И еще. Попробовал режим "до ключевого кадра". Прогнал файл без резки. Размер на выходе такой же, как и в режиме "до кадра". Но иной, нежели в исходном. Получается, что только если реально файл режем, то по краям идет перекодировка?
  Битый файл я уже стер, но попробую воссоздать этот эксперимент. Тогда выложу куда-нибудь.
