MPEG2 VBR to MPEG2 CBR

Hi all,

is it also possible to change an MPEG2 VBR file into an MPEG2 CBR file with this SDK?
Because we see a lot of prediction faults in seek operations and video length operation with MPEG2 VBR files...
If we could transform them very quickly into MPEG2 CBR files with this SDK, this would be very helpful.

How long does it take to transform a source file into a new destination file?

How long does it take to transform a source file into a new destination file?

As requantization is not compete decoding plus encoding, a processing is a few times faster than real time.
Unfortunately at the present moment the Requantizing SDK does not support VBR to CBR conversion, though we was going to implement this feature some time ago. So contact us if you really need it and we discuss its implementation.
