Can't get video splitter to work???

Just downloaded your trial version of your Solveig Video splitter, and installed it on my Vista PC. After importing my WMV video, I'm getting this error:Graph is not initialized(the operation completed successfully. hr=0x0).
I clicked OK, then this came up:Can't start trim process(unspecified error HRESULT:0x80004005). Do you know how to fix this?

Please let us know if the Splitter loaded WMV file to preview window and was able to playback it ?

I am also having a great deal of difficulty splitting a WMV file.  When I input the file, I can see and play it in preview, but when I try to split, the "percent complete" does not advance.  I let a file churn for 30 minutes and then cancelled and had an 8 kb file.
