Tested ... some features not found but requested
Olga Krovyakova:
Hello to all!
We wish to inform that we we have added two new possibilities to the Batch Manager of Video Splitter:
The feature is to set the same times for the saved fragment or to set the same duration of the files at the end and beginning of the file that should not be included to the final video.
The version with new features for batch processing is available for download here:
http://solveigmm.com/files/SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_Business_Edition_6_1_1703_6_Beta.exe
To set the same start and end time of the fragment in the all files:
Please mark the tasks in Batch Manager and click the right mouse button and select “Set Start/Stop on Selected Task(s) ”
Please set the required times and they will be changed in the marked tasks within the list
To set the same duration at the beginning and the end of the file that should be deleted
For example, you have 100 files of different duration and in all of them would like to delete the first 4 seconds at the beginning and 8 seconds at the end.
You can drag and drop the files from Windows Browser to the Batch Manager without adding to Video Splitter Interface. Further please select the files and click right mouse button and please select Shift Trimming Intervals.
Please enter the required values:
And please launch the tasks for editing

Or many files in the main window and the batch manager appears.

But in spite of this Video Splitter should select the best appropriate mode of the file editing.
It will try to cut the each file that was added to the batch list with the frame accuracy, and if that does not work the key frame accuracy will be selected.

WOW, if it's true and works, that's phantastic. Thanks for information about that hidden feature.

Nooo ... why editing every file individual (20, 50 or more!!!) in case all files will be edit at the same time? That's not the main idea of batch processing.
Thanks

Could you please let us know if it also works such way at your side?

It depends not on the choosen video file. It's effective for all video files.
Olga Krovyakova:
Hello Mike, T
Thank you for your reply.
If the frame accurate mode is enabled then in the batch manager project file there should be the string below by default:
<track video="1" audio="1" accuracy="frame" >
Could you please let us know if it also works such way at your side?
If not, could you please send for us the input original file for we could check it at our end? You can upload it to any file host service. e.g. Dropbox.com or Google Drive.
Also could you please record for us log files? Here is the short gudeiline on how to get them:
http://www.solveigmm.com/en/faq/how-to-record-log-files-of-solveigmm-video-splitter/
If you mean that in case you use the key accuracy mode and would like to switch all tasks to frame accurate editing mode in one pass, then regrettably this is not supported at the present time and we think over about the implementing such a feature to the next releases of the product.
