2. Adjusting Defensive Coverage
As the game progresses, you’ll need to FC 25 Coins (https://www.mmoexp.com/Fc-25/Coins.html) adapt your defense based on what the opponent is doing:
Zone vs. Man Coverage:
If your defense is getting burned by quick passes, it may be time to switch to zone coverage. A Cover 3 or Cover 4 can stop deep throws and protect against crossing routes. However, if the offense is taking advantage of soft spots in zone, it might be time to FC 25 Coins for sale (https://www.mmoexp.com/Fc-25/Coins.html) switch to man coverage to put tighter pressure on their routes. Alternating between zone and man can throw off the QB’s rhythm.
Adjusting Coverage Depth:
If the opposing quarterback is consistently throwing deep or using intermediate routes to exploit your defense, you can adjust your zone coverage depth. Increasing the depth of your corners or safeties in the options menu can help protect against these big plays. You can also change how far you drop your linebackers, preventing any quick slants from turning into huge yardage.
Blitz Adjustments:
Sometimes, you will need to tweak your blitz strategy on the fly. If your blitzes aren't generating pressure or are being picked up by offensive linemen, consider switching to a more unpredictable blitz, such as a delayed linebacker blitz or a safety blitz. Alternatively, you can opt for a “simulated pressure” look, where it appears you're blitzing but you drop linemen into coverage while sending a linebacker. The key is to make the blitz unpredictable and difficult to read pre-snap.
