Preview (picture-in-picture mode) does not work

Hello David,
To get more details on the error, please enable log files recording in the "Options"-"Extras"-"Write logs".
After that please restart your HyperCam and reproduce the error.
Open the log-files folder by clicking the "..." button on the same window and send us its contents to support(at)solveigmm(dot)com.

I used this function often to resize the PiP window or more it around.
I cannot preview the PiP window, but PiP works (it records video using the integrated camera).
Interestingly, the Preview button gets blue when I hover or press, but dims again in 1-2 sec.
Has anybody experienced something similar?
Or any guidance on solving it?
PS. Just noticed the error message "Can't display Video! Try closing other program that might be using your webcam. (hr=8004022a). My webcam is availabe... I can open it in any application so don't think the webcam (Lenovo 1X Yoga 4th gen) should be blamed...
