Hello minegroasprilla,

Thank you for your post and please excuse for the delayed answer.

Please try to set X264 encoder in preferences before the editing start.

You can select it in "Tools" -> "Preferences" -> "Smart mode settings" -> Encoders/decoders -> select X264 encoder (Custom) -> click the "Force selected" button -> click "OK" -> Trim the file.

You should get the higher quality on the output file with this codec.
Regards,
Olga Krovyakova

Hello minegroasprilla,

I've reproduced the same issue with quality degradation on the output file when download the original file with Internet Download Manager.

We will add this bug to our "to do" list for fixing.

As soon as there will be any news or updates I'll post in this thread.

Ok, that quality degradation happens with join videos, too.

I'll wait for update. :)

I need to extract the fragment from 00:08:02;07 to 00:08:04;14.

Bad quality is on the resulting-extracted video.

I downloaded Full video using Internet Download Manager (MP4-1080).

Here is the link for the resulting-extracted fragment: http://www.mediafire.com/download/jbaz8ez1yp5zaa6/FRAGMENT-BAD+QUALITY.mp4

mmm, I have cut other fragments and also notice the poor quality.
