Title: bug 2: add marker hotkey no longer works after 2 markers have been placed

after placing 2 markers the add marker hotkey no longer replaces new markers.this makes it extremely difficult or impossible to make multiple cuts.

additionally pressing the add marker hotkey often places the marker far away from where the cursor or current playing position is.

reverting back to 7.1 as this is Buggy and far less efficient.

Unfortunately, I did not quite understand the first problem, could you please describe it a little more.
Regarding the second issue - when you push the Add Marker hotkey, the marker is set in the position of the mouse/gray marker when it exists on the timeline, in other cases it is set in the position of the orange slider.
