Title: com object error

The error box says
The data is invalid
HRESULT: 0X8007000D
(Unspecified error hr = 0x80004005

i checked the forum and say a similar posting but did not find any solution.
the clip i am trying to cut is like 4 seconds long.

any help will be great.

Hello Michael,
Yes, the username = uploader and the rest as given.
If it does not work upload it please to any other place like www.yousendit.com

We contrived to replicate the crash with stcey1.AVI file and now are checking where the bug is located.

Hello Michael

The bug has been fixed.
Just download, uzip and replace SMM_Trimmer.ax

Usually installator puts it to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Solveig Multimedia" folder

The new file is available at this link:
www.solveigmm.com/files/utils/SMM_Trimmer_2009_11_08.zip

It will patch all of our products, WMP Trimmer Plugin, AVI Trimmer, Video Splitter.
We will do installations update shortly.

i did exactly as told. Unzipped the file and place the file smm_trimmer.ax in the solveig folder and try to rerun the program and the same problems arose.

i will try and reboot and see if that helps.

jr. in this case, please uninstall the version you have.
then download and install that one
http://www.solveigmm.com/files/SolveigMM_AVI_Trimmer_1_6.zip

After that replace new filter SMM_Trimmer.ax.

Please check that you re-write the old one, and try it again.

I tried uninstalling and installed as per your latest instruction using the link and copied the patch to the solveig directory and the same problem persist.

In this case, please specify start stop postionons of a fragment you try to edit?
