Regarding to your issue - do you have a crash when you just setting markers or after you started trimming process? If during the trimming I need to know intervals that you set up.

Hello HyperCam15YearVet,
Please let me explain, that by default Media Editor runs after the end of recording, this might take some time and might cause a black screen which probably will overlap any error messages.
1. Please try to disable an automatic Media Editor start unchecking "Options"-"Extras"-"Open recorded file in HC Media Editor".
3. Enable logging in the same settings page, then restart your HyperCam and try to reproduce the issue. Send me recorded log files.
2. Please generate send me a DXDIAG file of your configuration. Here you can see the instructions on how to get it.

Most likely, the MKV files you talk about contain VP9 video. We added a support of such files in Video Splitter v.7.3.1906.10. Please check it and if id does not help, please send a sample of your file to our tech support or to me directly with the reference to this post.

Hello bikelike,

Hi, just installed a 64 bit pro version and try to split files h.265 files from my Mavic 2pro. Playback is stuttering though, putting the play-head to a different place is sluggish. I have no playback problems with my windows pc using VLC. This is also when I make the window much smaller. h.264 is all fine. I have an 15 9600K @ 4.8 GHz and a a GTX 2060 super card.

Currently, we use predefined video decoder for the H.265 video, which might be slower than other decoders but unfortunately there is no way to change it now. Anyway, I'll report this issue to our developers, and post here in case of any improvements.
If it is possible for you, please send a sample of your H265 file to our tech support or to me directly with the reference to this thread so we can check it. You can use any file sharing services.

The UI on my 4K screen is quite tiny, especially the preferences.

We already aware of this issue and have a partial solution - if you are using Windows 10, you can switch to the tablet mode and the main interface will be scaled.

Hello Cedric,
This feature already exist in Video Splitter. To enable it, please open the "Preferences" then select the "View" tab and enable the "Show Jump Forward button" option.
You will see the extra button in the navigation controls near the volume level. Right click that button and you'll see the dialog with predefined jump values, if you click "Step" box, you'll be able to specify your own value.
