Thank you for your question.

The "floating" license means that you can install Video Splitter on 5 different computers and register it with the same purchased license key, so there are 5 activations available. The usage is not simultaneously, so you need to close Video Splitter registered with such key on one computer to use it on another.

The floating license solves the issue for moving one license from one computer to another - now you can use it at 5 different computers, not simultaneously.

Have you tried to use the Free Edition of 8th version?

Could you please send us the original input file (with srt file if you have) that you open in Video Splitter and the project file? You can upload it to any file sharing service, e.g. Google drive (https://drive.google.com) or Dropbox.com.

To get the project file open the input file in Video Splitter, set fragments for saving and deleting then go to File menu -> Save project as and select folder to save the project file.

Yes, you need to use the "scissors" button under the segment to set it to be saved or deleted in the version 8.
This is the best way in version 8 to set segments to be saved/deleted in the final video.

Thanks for your post and please excuse for the delay with reply.

It is normal that in the Free Edition of Video Splitter 8 you see the Elecard logo on the video file preview.

There should not be logo in all other Editions of Video Splitter 8.

You are right, we currently offer for users of version 7 to upgrade to the 1-year subscription of the license with 60% discount or even for free.
