Title: AVI Trimmer file size.

Hi,

I've just "trimmed" an AVI file - I only wanted exactly the first half - but the new file is still the same size as the old one.
Why is this?

Thank you for feedback.

Am I right that you wanted to cut out second part and keep the first part of AVI?
In this case you should get proper result. What is a file size of an original AVI file?

Hi Dmitry,

You are right, I only wanted to keep the first half of the AVI file. It's size was 1.45GB. After trimming, and leaving just the first half, the file size was still 1.45 GB.
Strange, but true. Any ideas why?

firstly can you upload screenshot with settings of AVI trimmer. I mean Start / Stop postions. Also please let me know what kind of video comprises your AVI - (e.g. XVID,MJPEG )
