When i try and upload an avi video it tells me
"Unable to render selected stream. Check necessary codecs are installed. Video (HFYU)."
And when i press ok it only plays the sound.

This message can appear if there is no necessary codec installed on PC.
Please try to install Huffyuv codec. You can find it and the instruction for installation at page:
