Title: MFC Application Error when writing out

I am editing a high-res AVI file (1 hour, about 2.5Mb) with AVI trimmer. attempts to write out a small clip (5 minutes in length) results in the error"AVITrimmerApp MFC Applicaiton has encountered a problem and needs to close." The app writes out until 99% complete in status bar, then crashes at the end. Any fixes for this? I encountered a similar problem with the plugin. Running WinXP home edition v5.1 SP 3 --Kert

Hi Kertp,

The bug has been fixed.
Just download, uzip and replace SMM_Trimmer.ax

Usually installator puts it to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Solveig Multimedia" folder

The new file is available at this link:
www.solveigmm.com/files/utils/SMM_Trimmer_2009_09_30.zip

It will patch all of our products, WMP Trimmer Plugin, AVI Trimmer, Video Splitter.
We will do installations update shortly.

The problem was that your file "kert peterson video .avi" has zero as audio bitrate in AVI header.
Not sure a lot of video editors like such things, ours will do Smiley
