I am sending the file now.
Since then I changed computer and wanted to wait to see if this would cure the problem.
Unfortunately it did not.
I now have Vista Home Premium French
I am using Klite codec pack
The problem seem to have worsten (sp) as the video seems to play faster now.???

I am sending the original file and a small trimmed section of it.

I send it to your support address of solveigmm.com

I tried the shareware video trimmer, but it does the same.

Thanks for your help

Thanks, I'll post the results as soon as something gets clear.

Ok some more info.
Using some other soft, I see that the Video is Xvid and the audio is MPEG4.
However AviTrim report it as MPEG1,. Can that be the cause of the problem?

Hello Lambalain,

Thank you for the feedback and sorry for long silence.

Could you please try the updated version (1.6.803.22):

If the trouble remains, it would be helpful to get your original file to replicate that on our side for further fixing.

Thank you for your help!

Hi, I just found AVI trimmer.  This is a great program, thanks for making that freeware.
I have a problem however.  I am trying to trim an AVI movie taken with my photo camera.
The Video format is Xvid and the audio format is MPEG1 as indicated in AVI Trimmer.
The output file has a lot of noise in the audio and is unusable.
Do you have any idea why and what can be done to resolve this?

I use Windows 2000 Pro SP4 and version 1.6 of Avi Trimmer.

Thanks
