The very same thing also happens in Video Splitter.

Please try to download smm_trimmer.ax, unzip and put it to
"C:\Program Files\Solveig Multimedia\SolveigMM AVI Trimmer" folder to replace an old smm_trimmer.ax,.

Then repeate your tests.
