Hello avakhov,

Thank you for your post.

Regrettably I've not reproduced this error at our end.
Could you please upload for us sample MP4 file with which you get this problem?
You can use e.g. Google drive to upload the file (with 10 Gbs free space for file sharing).
Regards,
Olga Krovyakova

The following happens when I try to edit an mp4 file that is greater than ~2.8GB:

When I drag the file into the "add files to the media library" area, the length shows 00:00:00, and there is no thumbnail preview for the video file.
When this film clip is dragged to the "open or drag files for editing" area, there is an error: "Unable to get source fie length".  The program then freezes up with an endless spinner icon.

Video splitter works normally with smaller files, and I am using version 6.1.1705.18 Video Splitter.
Thanks,
Aaron
