hello there, I bought the latest home edition and have been able to export segments of some videos easily.
However, others don't work. I have videos of 50 min, and need to try 5 min at the beginning and 30 secs at the end. When I export all the segments, only the beginning and end segments are exported and the main bit of the video (45 min) doesnt export properly.
can you help?
cheers

Hello djtearz,
Could you please clarify what do you mean under the "main video does not export properly". Please specify in more details what you need to have as a result and what you actually have.
-
So the video is 53 min in total. I place my start marker on 4.30 min and my end marker 30 secs from the end. When I tried to save it, the file generated is corrupted, only 22KB. However if I export all fragments (cut and kept ones), then it exports properly the cut segments but not the middle one.
I tried removing the smartmode but it doesnt cut the video properly - there are 15 secs added at the beginning and end of the segment I want to keep.

can someone help? just bought the product but will ask for a refund if I cant get this resolved...
-
Hello djtearz,
Can you please send us your video file and a trimming project file ("File"->"Save project as.." menu or F12 hotkey) to reproduce the error? You can use any file sharing service you like. Please send a link to the file to our technical support or to me directly. Thank you in advance.
-
I just purchased it and same problem here.
DId anybody find a solution?
I use Windows 7, x64.
-
I will just copy and paste the media info of the original file, and the media info of the corrupted file which I get as output of the Solveig MM video splitter function "save selected fragment as". I hope it will be useful.

Hello jonjacson,
Please try the latest beta-version (http://www.solveigmm.com/download/SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_Home_Edition_6_1_Beta.exe). Will it solve your problem?
-
Input file bitrate=15000 Kb/s
Output file bitrate=30000 Kb/s
I need Output file bitrate=Input file bitrate.
Как сделать чтобы битрэйт выходного файла был таким же как и входного?
-
the beta version worked for me at least in the video I tried,
thank you so much
-
Not sure if this is a similar problem but I have latest version 6.1.1707.19. I trimmed a 720p MKV without issue but I cannot trim up a 1080p MKV. I setup all the trims I want and saved the project file but when outputting it gets to 75% and never finishes. I tried leaving it overnight and no progress was made. Any thoughts? I'm getting a 720p version of the same file and will try again. My thought is the program is running out of memory.
-
It's like I thought. I used 720p version and no problems...

Hello Butman,
We are already aware of the problems with the MKV files processing. First of all, please try the latest beta-version (http://www.solveigmm.com/download/SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_Home_Edition_6_1_Beta.exe). If this does not help, please send your problem file to out technical support or to me directly and specify the trimming interval or save a trimming project file (F12 hotkey).
