    Supported OS The engine is built for Ubuntu 22.04.

    Support of MXF XAVC files The Engine is able to process MXF files with XAVC (Intra, LongGOP,AVC-Intra 50/100), video and PCM audio.

    Insert effects/transitions to the output file The Engine is capable of applying multiple effects and transitions to MP4 AVC videos and MXF XAVC videos:

    • fade-in/fade-out;
    • dissolve;

    Working with images

    • Overlaying pictures on a video (MP4 files with AVC video, MXF with XAVC);
    • Converting pictures into a video (MP4 files with AVC video, MXF with XAVC);

    Processing audio

    • Mute audio segments;
    • Voice-over on MP4 with AAC audio, MXF with PCM audio files (mix audio from the separate MP4A MP3 file);

    Smart transcoding Smart rendering of media files with different encoding parameters according to the specified reference file parameters. Transcoding takes place only for files whose parameters don't match the reference's.

    Useful utilities

    • ts2mp4 - a command-line tool that transmuxes an interval specified with start/end times from the MPEG-TS file with AVC HEVC video and AAC audio to an MP4 file;
    • mp4transc - a command-line tool that transcodes an MP4 file with AVC or HEVC video and AAC audio with exact same codec and container parameters specified by the reference MP4 (AVC video, AAC audio) file;

    HTML5 Video Editor samples

    • HTML5 Video Editor docker - runs the HTML5 Editor server locally;
    • HTML5 Video Editor online - opens an online version of the HTML5 Editor;

    Trimming and joining MPEG-2 Transport Stream files Supports MPEG-TS transport stream with HEVC/H.265, AVC/H.264 video and with MPEG-1 layer 1/2/3, AAC, AC3 audio.

    Trimming and joining MP4 or MOV files Suports MP4 or MOV files with HEVC/H.265, AVC/H.264 video and AAC audio.

    Trimming and joining video elementary stream files Supports AVC/H.264 and MPEG-2 video elementary stream files.

    Transcoding MPEG-2 Transport Stream to MP4 files SolveigMM Video Editing Engine is able to transcode AVC/H.264 video with AAC audio with the codec parameters specified by an external reference video file.
