SolveigMM Video Splitter / Re: No sound mkv file
« on: February 15, 2019, 06:02:25 PM »
Hello isurfsafe,
Unfortunately, the "OPUS" audio is not supported by Video Splitter at this time. I'll let you know whenever the support for this type of audio is implemented.

I got it. As I said earlier, I reproduced a similar behavior, so, when the fix is available, I'll post here.

Hello Marty,
I'll try to check this behavior that you described.
Writing log-files might be the most probable reason of slowing down, as it needs the access to the HDD. The other options (backup, cash etc.) are initiated on special cases and does not need HDD or use it rarely. So please disable the logging during the common use of the Video Splitter.
The resources consumption depends on a file loaded into the timeline (or the encoding parameters of the file), the number of files on the timeline and other factors. It might also be a good idea to use a 64bit version of the Video Splitter.

Hello mickeyjaan,

The Video Splitter 6.1.1707.19 is quite outdated. Please try the latest available release version of Video Splitter.

В случае использования кнопок клавиатуры сразу же после загрузки сохраненного проекта, проблема та же, что и п.3 ниже - захват фокуса. Я напишу об исправлении.

SolveigMM HyperCam / Re: Licensing & registration!!
« on: February 12, 2019, 04:35:03 PM »
Hello johnmickenzy,

The license of the HyperCam Home Edition lets you install the product on one PC with one Operating System for one user. The product needs an active Internet connection. If you plan to use a product on different PCs, you should probably consider having a portable license, which allow you to to install it on a usb flash drive and switch it between PCs.

SolveigMM WMP Trimmer Plug-In / Re: Frequently Asked Question!!
« on: February 12, 2019, 04:22:18 PM »
Hello johnmickenzy,
The WMP Trimmer plug-in is available in 2 editions: Home edition supports only trimming with the key-frame accuracy, Business edition supports frame-accurate trimming. You can also check our Video Splitter that also supports both trimming accuracy modes.

SolveigMM AVI Trimmer / Re: Trimmer frame navigation!!
« on: February 12, 2019, 04:07:03 PM »
Is there a single frame forward/backward function in AVI Trimmer?  I'd like to trim at precise frames, but it seems that I have to know the frame's time code in miliseconds which I don't know how to calculate.

I think a frame forward button and a frame backward button would be useful, if the functions don't already exist.  And since AVI Trimmer is K frame accurate, perhaps buttons to go to the next or previous K-frame would be useful as well.

Avi Trimmer + is capable to perform both frame and key frame navigation. You should use the navigation buttons under the preview window or Ctrl+Right / Ctrl+Left, Right/Left hotkeys for key frame and frame navigation accordingly.

Also, is it correct to assume that trimming of DV video is always at the frames we mark, since all frames in DV video are I frames?

Trimming the DV / AVI-DV file is always frame-accurate.

Hello Marty,
After checking your files I think I found 2 different issues:
1) When you load a project with an external subtitles or restore from a backup copy of the project after a crash, the external subtitles stream is disabled for trimming.
2) When you load more then 1 file to the timeline and save the output file - only subtitles from the first file are saved.

I'll post here when the fix is available.

Hello skizlock,

I reproduced a similar behavior: when saving multiple fragments from a source file the timing of the second and other fragment's subtitles is shifted a little, but it does not start right after the last line of the first fragment's subtitle. I suppose that the problem is the same, but to make sure, could you please send me your files and a trimming project? You can send files to our technical support (support(at) or to me directly via a forum's private message. Please do include a reference to this topic in your e-mail.

Hello popchau,
If you're posting in this thread and you still didn't try out SolveigMM Video Splitter , then I suggest you do so. It should do all that you described.
