SolveigMM Video Editing SDK / SolveigMM Video Editing SDK 2.0 is released

We have released the long awaited SolveigMM Video Editing SDK2.0, software development kit for developing applications for advanced editing digital video/audio data of various formats.

SDK supports AVCHD, MP4, MKV, MOV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, WAV, ASF/WMV/WMA, AVI, MP3 file formats and due to special technology allows developing software for fast and lossless video and audio editing.

New features:

- Sample projects were restructured by programming language, format and operation type
- TimeLine ActiveX control was introduced in samples
- Updated documentation for SMM DShow filters
- Batch XTL files description updated, added samples for each operation
- Media samples added for testing

Thank you for files.

Yes there is really some small interruption in the place where two vob files were joined.
We will work in this problem, please keep an eye on this thread, I will post here it there will be any news.

And please let us know also if there will the problem with original files.

Thank you for your reply.

We will discuss this with our team and probably add this functionality to Video Splitter.

According to the problem with vob files,  could you please try to rename vob to mpg extension? Will the problem  remain? If  yes, it will be helpful if you could upload this files to e.g. dropbox.com (up to 2Gb space for file sharing).

Thank you for your post.
Unfortunately it is not possible to open the whole DVD in Video Splitter,  only vob files.
Yes,  you can join 2  files using Join Manager of Video Splitter (Tools -> Join Manager).

Hello Hypercam_fan,

Since the Sound recorder doesn't work properly, most likely your system setting were changed.

Could you please send your sound recording system settings (if it is more convenient for you can  send them to support(at)solveigmm.com)? Screenshots are appreciated.

1) Control panel->Hardware and Sound->Sound->Playback

2) Control panel->Hardware and Sound->Sound->Playback->Default device->Properties->Levels->Balance (possibly something is turn off, the defaukt device should be speakers)

3) Control panel->Hardware and Sound->Sound->Recording

4) Control panel->Hardware and Sound->Sound->Stereo Mix->Properties->Levels->Balance

Could you please also send us the screenshot of  the Properties button of the Audio settings window?



And also screenshot of the Extras window of options, the "Mouse click sound volume" setting.

Could you please try to make the record using "Sound Recorder"?

If there will not be problems with sound of the resulted record of Sound Recorder, but with the HyperCam will be, then please send us the sample of the resulted recorded file with the sound problem.

Could you please specify your sound settings more detailed?

What device you have chosen (stereomix, mono mix, microphone)?

Have you changed the output format of audio/video using "Properties" button?

What sound level recording do you have in your system? (Control panel->Sound->Recording->Device->Properties->Levels)

What exactly have you tried to record?

We have tested it on Windows XP and Windwows 7 PCs but unfortunately have not noticed any problems with sound in the trimmed file in VLC or MPC.

Thank you for your file,  but unfortunately we can not reproduce the bug on this file. The reason probably in that it was created by mkvmerge.

Could you please send us the original file? You can use dropbox.com which comes with 2 GB free space for file sharing.

Could you please also specify what  filters do Windows Player Classic has if this file opening?
