Hello Ollie

To switch off the frame accuracy you can do the following:
1) Set the default accuracy to GOP - click "Tools"-"Preferences" menu (Ctrl+P) and in a Preferences Window go to a Smart Mode Settings tab and change the default accuracy to GOP.


2) Go to "Control" menu and uncheck the "Frame Accuracy (Smart Mode)"

Thank you for the file, with the file I reproduced the described problem.
Unfortunately, at the moment Video Splitter does not support MKV files with VP9 video. We'll try to implement the support of such files in future releases and will let you know when the fix is ready.

Hello Ollie,
I would like to mention that Video Splitter does not reencode the entire file, only a some necessary frames.

Unfortunately, at the present moment Video Splitter does not support adding any transitions or effects in video. However it might be added in a future.

If I understand you correctly, to start trimming process you should left-click (not right-click) the "Save" button.
Otherwise, could you please describe you actions to reproduce the problem in more detail?

Hello birdy,
According to your suggestion I'd like to explain that there is a little timeout for updating the video preview.
If you move slider quite fast - there is no updating of the preview, but when you move slider a little slower - you should see the video preview updated. However, it depends on the exact video, e.g Full HD or 2K videos can be less responsive than the lower-resolution videos.
Please check it.
Also there is a zoom feature along with video thumbnails which can help in navigation.

Meanwhile, you can try to trim using the timeline: set necessary markers on timeline then right-click the timeline and select "Save All Fragments As.." menu. Click YES, to save ALL fragments from the timeline.
