The error looks quite wierd, we have never heard about such a problem.

What is your OS, SP? i guess you have some software that just block abilities to write data to registry. Are you able to install any other software?

Thank you for your question, but it sounds quite generall, we seem don't have the approptiate software for that task.  So try to google the solution with the phrase like  - convert a music video file in .VOB format

Technically K-frame editing technology just can't vary deeply. So all editing products to have such a capability, should deliver similar outputs, as it is the only way to do that valid.
VD is very good tool and intended for fast digital processing task.

Our tool concentrates at the seamless fast, out of sync K-frame/ Frame accuracy editing of a set input media formats like  AVI, ASF/WMV, MPEG-2 TS/PS/VES, MPEG-1 SS/VES, AVCHD TS/PS, WEB-M, WMV, MP4 etc.

Not all of the enumerated formats are supported in the current 2.2 release, but we are working on them, to make editing life easier and more convenient.

And one more side of Solveig Technologies, we don't clone any third-party products, and don't create something that everybody offers, but develop something challenging

Unfortunately unless having the full version of SDK one can't build any sample or create own application.
With SDK pack it is provaided technicall support, so then we can show you what and where to use.

- what files (.dll etc.)  need to be distributed together with compiled .exe?
 - Can I install my VB application just by copy the .exe and other files to a programm-directory or must I to use setup.exe/installer and register (regsrv) files?

You should ship SolveigMM Video Editing Engine that is a set of COM objects and DirectShow filters that have to be installed/registered before usage.

Hi all,

Preliminary alpha version with the feature of AVI files trimming with frame accuracy (only some frames are re-encoded, other 99% is kept originaly)

How to use it.

Load your AVI file.

To switch the frame accuracy mode, locate Frame Accuracy menu item:



If appropreate encoder/decoder is installed on the PC, the item should be switched with no errors.
Otherwise it has to deliver a message what is missed.

Available Decoders/Encoders can ve viewed through Preferences:
