SolveigMM Video Splitter 2.2 has been released.

Press release:
SolveigMM Video Splitter 2.2: Now Featuring Quick File-by-file Splicing without Conversion

Features:
 - Merging in file by file mode of the files – AVI, WMV/ASF, WMA, MP3, MPEG-2 PS/TS/VES, MPEG-1 SS/VES
- Ability to choose MPEG-2 TS program for playback
- Audio language is should for MPEG-2 TS streams in the Splitter Control menu
- Installed Splitter can now properly work with restricted Windows accounts – power user, user etc. Before, it required only administrator account to operate
- All the SolveigMM Splitter binaries and installation signed with Comodo certificate

Ok thanks, I thought that I saw such a feature there. As a program that make screencsat and recod a video in some format, it is of course an alternative. But in detail that is completely different utility

Hi Folks,

We are developing MKV DirectShow Muxer + Splitter.

Here is first beta version of the demuxer:

Abilities:
- Accepts input MKV files
- Parses Video/Audio/Subtitles
- Can output Annex B AVC VES stream, so it can be played back separately


Please post here all the problems you will encounter with the splitter.

Firstly make sure you have the latest version - Ver/Date: 3.0.1003.12, 2010 Mar 12

When you start HyperCam, without recording vidio, does your CPU increase? Could you make a screenshot of task manager performance_

ok. In fact such a problem is on of the hard to fix, as we could not replicate it so far.
I suspect it depends on certain GPU, and audio drivers used. Currently we are gathering statistics of such kind of problems. So, could you please upload us the clip you made and tell us what OS 32/64 bits you have?

Thank you for your post. Firstly please be sure that you have installed the latest version that is 1.6.912.18, and available at the link below:

If it is the last one, please make a new test, when you get an error, just close the trimmer and try to open this file in a new instance.

Ok, in this case could you make same test with microphone capturing? from time to time say there the time position, to see how audio is synchtonized with video.

Thank you for your post. Could you please make a simple test?

Just start your system clock with minute/secund poiner, and recor it during two minutes without audio.

If there is any porblmem, the resulted video should be played back faster/slowerr than two minutes. Is it is so, please upload us such a clip to review.
