Hello K8T5,
Please let me explain, that HyperCam 2 is not a product of Solveig Multimedia. Futhermore, the HyperCam 2 is quite outdated.
What I can suggest in this situation, is to try to change video compression settings - try different video compressors.

We already aware of this issue and have a partial solution - if you are using Windows 10, you can switch to the tablet mode and the main interface will be scaled.

Video Splitter supports TS files. If you experience any issues when editing this type of files, please send your source file to the technical support with the trimming project file and describe your issue in details and do not forget to refer to this thread.

As answered earlier, 1. HyperCam 2 is not a product of SolveigMultimedia, 2. HyperCam 2 is quite old. Please try the latest version of HyperCam.

Answering your question - most likely, if you see this message for the file, you probably will not be able to trim it with frame accuracy. However, you can send your file to our tech. support so we can check it. Please do not forget to make any reference to this post in your e-mail.

PS: I tried to insert the picture directly into this message, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. Can you tell me how to do it?

Inserting pictures directly is not possible.

Regarding to your issue - do you have a crash when you just setting markers or after you started trimming process? If during the trimming I need to know intervals that you set up.

Please let me explain, that by default Media Editor runs after the end of recording, this might take some time and might cause a black screen which probably will overlap any error messages.
1. Please try to disable an automatic Media Editor start unchecking "Options"-"Extras"-"Open recorded file in HC Media Editor".
3. Enable logging in the same settings page, then restart your HyperCam and try to reproduce the issue. Send me recorded log files.
2. Please generate send me a DXDIAG file of your configuration. Here you can see the instructions on how to get it.
