well the problem is not replicated as well so far.

e.g I just try to save a fragment  from 00:00:25:93 to   00:01:38:35 keep.
It is trimmed fairy fast. Could you try to trim same fragment from file freshbits-sample-2-min.mpg and let me know if it will process slow.

Also please enumerate your CP configuration. Where your files are located, may me it is a removable HDD or something like that?

Thanks for your opinion, really we more aply our effort to the Splitter, but the freeware AVI trimmer is also developing, but not so fast.
So pleas let us know if the MPG problem is settled on your side, it defenetely has to be.

Thank you also, seems one of that program install certain codecs to make AVI trimmer unable to oparate. We will figure out what is wrong.

Hey, this is seems like a fast and cool tool!  I just tried it on a huge avi file, a movie, trimming out one-second chunks where there were swear words.  (about 30 little chunks trimmed out) Both "video" and "audio" were checked when I was doing it.  But, when I saved the trimmed file, it ended up with the sound 'way out of sync with the lips.  Why did it not trim out sound and picture at the same time?  Any ideas?

Thanks for feedback. Video audio appending feature has to appear in the splitter 2.2 qutie shortly.
You can already test it for AVI,ASF,WMV,MP3,WMA-

Joining operates in file by file mode for only files with similar parameters.

It is available via menu->Joining Manager.

We would appreciate for any bug reports/ improvement suggestions / feature requests / enhancements.

I have used the SDK sample to subclip MPeg files and it works quite well.  The one last feature I need to test out is to have the resulting subclip file only contain the left channel of the stereo pair from the source Mpeg file.  I have tried to use but I find that it still includes both sides.    Is there a way in the SDK to only included one of the stereo pairs in the output file?  Thanks

Thank you for feedback. Well currently the SDK is only allows choosing the cetrain audio stream if input file contain several.
If you really need to enable/disable one of stereo channel we could discuss that implementation.
What kind of audio steam your MPEG file contains? is it MPEg-1 audio?

Новые возможности:
-"Save All Segments" – фича сохраняет все фрагменты выставленные на таймлайне в отдельные файлы
- Теперь к имени выходного файла добавляется цифровой префикс g input_0001.avi, input_0002.avi
- Добавлена "Add Task to Batch" пункт контекстного меню таймлайна

Исправления
- Исправлено выделение большого количества памяти и зависание на 99% процентах при редактировании больших MPEG-2 фалах
- индексация больших MPEG-2 файлов иногда приводила к зависанию на 99%
- краш при редактировании некоторых AVI файлов с PCM аудио
- Зависание при попытке открыть невалидный файл как Task List файл (.xtl)
- Нестабильные результаты утилиты командной строки пре редактировании больших файлов > 10 GB

Изменения
- Байтовый размер теперь показывается в GB/MB/KB вместо байтов.
