Thank you for your post.

Have you set fragments for deleting using "Cut out selecting fragment" button after all markers were added at the timeline?

Please take a look at this guideline for more information about editing with WMP Trimmer Plugin:

If this will not help then please send us your input original file using e.g. dropbox.com and specify please start and stop time positions were selected for the fragment(s) you would like to be saved.

Meanwhile you can change the scale of waveform using "Zoom in/out" buttons of visual time line.

Thank you a lot for file you have sent us.

I've reproduced the issue with errors after the trimming start of this file and inability to edit it.

We will try to find out what can be the reason of this problem and I'll post here when I have any news.

Please try to use the latest beta version, the issue with navigation is fixed in it.

According the crash issue, if you have the crash with the beta version 4.0.1409.26 then please upload the sample of wmv1 file that you open in Video Splitter to any file host service, e.g. Dropbox.com or Google drive for we could reproduce the bug at our end and fix it.

I would recommend to use "WMVideo9 Encoder DMO"  or "Xvid" as the video compressor.

Xvid codec can be downloaded at:

Thank you for your post.
You are right, AVI Trimmer + MKV has no such feature to save chapters of MKV files after editing at the present time.
We will think over to add such feature to the next releases of product. If such possibility appear, I'll post here.

Thank you for your post.
I've tried to reproduced the issue you have described and received the same result at our end.

AAC files created by Video Splitter should playback in the players if DC-Bass Source filter is installed. If you can not playback them with the installed filter then this is the bug case.

We will try to fix this issue in near future. As soon as there will be any solution of this issue, I'll post here.

This behaviour of Video Splitter depends on the specific video card.

Please try to use different video renderer. You can select in Tools -> Preferences -> Playback settings -> Video renderer section.
