"Obey sample times" works only for AVI files.
If you have noticed sync issues with output AVI files you can try to edit your file with this enabled setting.

Thank you for your question.

There is no default aspect ratio for HyperCam recordings. The aspect ratio is determined by the size of the selected recording area.

You can check the aspect ratio of your video with "MediaInfo" (right mouse click on the file ans select "MediaInfo").

Yes, you are right.

So will it be possible to do transitions the same way

We will possibly add such feature to Video Splitter next releases. Exact time when it will be ready is still unknown.

Thank you for your post.

Please try to use the latest beta version of Video Splitter, will you have any problems with it?

If the problem still remains with this version, then please specify the name of your video card and send us please the information about your system.

To get it go to Start - > Run... - > enter "dxdiag.exe". In the opened window click on "Save All Information" window.

Please send us the "DxDiag.txt" file that will be created.

Also please try to install K-lite codec pack, e.g. from the link below:

After that please open your wmv file in Windows Player Classic then go to Play - > Filters and check please what name of video render is used.

Unfortunately I've not reproduced this problem on our end.

Could you please try to use the beta version of HyperCam? It has successfully recorded "Performance Monitor" of Advanced Sytemcare.

Try to enable also the "Capture layered windows" setting in Options -> Extras and try to select another Video compressor (e.g. WMVideo 9 Encoder DMO) in Options -> Video, will it help you?

Could you please try to use the beta version of Video Splitter available from:

If the problem remains with this version, could you please upload for us file that you have tried to edit (when it locks up on trimming)?

You can use any file host service, e.g. filedropper.com or dropbox.com. 

Also please send us the project file. Select fragments for saving then go to File -> Save project as. You can send this to support(at)solveigmm(dot)com.
Also please record log files. Here is how to get them:

If you can reproduce with the program start up, then also please record log files and send to us. Below are the steps on how to get them:

1) Download and unpack the archieve: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18960201/LoggingForSplitter.zip
2) Launch "EnableLOG.reg".
2) Launch Video Splitter.
3) After the lock up happens, go to "My documents -> Solveig Multimedia -> Logs" and send us please the content of this folder.
5) To disable log files recording launch"DisableLOG.reg" file.

Try to reinstall AVI Trimmer. Will it help you?

Have you selected the Video Splitter main window after hot key setting in the Preferences window?

Unfortunately I've not reproduced this problem on our end.

Could you please specify what hot key value you have selected for this command?
