But:
After the last reupload

the virus alert was gone

and now in the new beta the virus alert has come back.
Why?
You have had solved the problem and in the next beta the same problem is back.

Bug:
If the video file is a .wmv file,
the output file name is suggested as a .wma file (audio), also the type.

So at the end gotting a .wma file (audio only) and not a .wmv file (video + audio). .

Die am 07.02.2018 gemeldeten Fehler bestehen unverändert auch in der neuesten Beta:
6.1.1802.19 Beta

Ausnahme:
Ziffer 4: Fehler "Trennungslinie" besteht nicht mehr

Neuer Bug:
Beim Beenden von VideoSplitter erscheint folgende Windows-Fehlermeldung:

SolveigMM Video Splitter funktioniert nicht mehr.
Ein Problem hat die richtige Ausführung dieses Programms verhindert. Schließen Sie das Programm.
--> Programm schließen (Button)

Win7, 64bit, SP1 deutsch
VideoSplitter: 6.1 aufwärts alle updates

1.
Wählt man
Datei
Schließen

bleibt die Datei trotzdem im RAM speicher und läßt sich nicht löschen.
Man muß erst VideoSplitter beenden, dann läßt sich die Datei löschen.

Dieser Fehler kam schon in Version 5 vor, wurde dann behoben,
tritt aber in Version 6 erneut auf.

Tastenkürzel Einstellungen

Definition "Mediadatei speichern unter":
Tastenkürzel vergeben, zum Beispiel "Y"

In der Steuerung ist angeklickt (also ja):
Nach Zieldatei fragen ...

Wählt man "Speichern" (Schnitt) aus, erscheint die Dialog-Maske "Speichern unter".
Klickt man auf "Speichern" erhält die neue Datei am Ende des Namens die Endung .0001 gespeichert.

Alternative:
Ruft man den Dialog-Maske "Speichern unter" auf, indem man das Tastaturkürzel eintippt,
und klickt man dann auf "Speichern", erlischt die Maske für eine Sekunde und erscheint ein zweites Mal. Mit der Folge, daß die neue Datei am Ende des Namens die Endung .0002 bekommt

Schritt 1: Schneiden von Datei1
Schritt2:
Datei-Schließen
Schritt3:
Neue Datei in den VideoSplitter ziehen

Die alten Schnittmarken von Datei 1 wurden auf Datei 2 angewendet.

Das geht in Version 6 so nicht mehr.


4.
Verschiebt man die untere Trennungslinie (Zum Beginnen Dateien hierher ziehen) nach oben oder unten, merkt sich der VideoSplitter diese Einstellung nicht. Nach dem Beenden und Neustarten von VideoSplitter ist die Trennungslinie wieder am alten Platz.

Dieser Fehler war schon mal behoben, tritt aber seit einigen Updates wieder auf.

And is it (will it be) possible to use a batch manager to cut files not one after the other but many files in one go.

For Example:
Step 1:
20 files per drag'n'drop in a batch manager

Step 2:
Define the cut markers who will be valid for all files (not individually for each file)

Is it possible to cut several files at the same positions?

Description:
File-1: Cut the first 10 seconds and the last 5 seconds of the file
File-2: Cut the first 10 seconds and the last 5 seconds of the file
File-3: Cut the first 10 seconds and the last 5 seconds of the file

My wish:
Drag'n'Drop file-1 in Solveig VS, make the cut markers and save the result for file-1.
After that
Drag'n'Drop file-2 in Solveig VS, VS should use the same cut markers from file-1 and save the result for file-2.
etc.

Is this already possible in Solveig VS?

Hello the_fiddler,

1. No actions. The entry in the mask is wrong

Excuse me, I still do not understand. The N is the hot key for the Begin Marker, M - for End marker. These are default settings and as I see they work at the latest version.

Then I have understand it wrong. M stands in the alphabet before N. Logically I have interpretet that M=begin marker and N=end marker. I'm sorry for that misunderstanding.

Timeline height change (drag'n'drop with mouse) will not be recognized, after restart VS the old standard height is again there.
