Hello the_fiddler,
I would like to clarify that the v.5 of Video Splitter is outdated.
To work around this issue, please change the file type mask from Audio Only (*.wma) to wmv files (*.wmv)

Bug:
If the video file is a .wmv file,
the output file name is suggested as a .wma file (audio), also the type.

So at the end gotting a .wma file (audio only) and not a .wmv file (video + audio). .
