Hello Jassy_Casper,

Thank you for your post.
We will possibly add the feature to give the names for streams in the next Video Splitter releases.
If such feature appear, we will write in topic.
Best Regards,

That is a really handy feature to have, especially when you're dealing with files that have multiple language tracks or commentary and you want them to show up correctly in your media player.
Usually, if the option isn't immediately obvious in the main timeline, it's tucked away in the stream selection or "Control" menu. If the Splitter doesn't allow a direct rename within the UI for your specific file format, a quick workaround is to use a tool like MKVToolNix to change the metadata tags before or after the cut - it doesn't require re-encoding, so it stays fast.

Hello CarmeloLabadie,

Thank you for your post and please excuse for the delayed reply.

Unfortunately Video Splitter doesn't allow to rename audio tracks in the video file.
You can only give a name to the output file that will be created after the editing.
If you would like to save only one audio track in such video file you can select streams for output file in in Control / Select streams.. menu.
See more information in this guideline:

I have a bluray on which there is a film with two different soundtracks. An "Original Kino-Synchronisation" and a "TV Synchronisation"!

Can I rename the two sound tracks when ripping?

Or how can I distinguish between the two versions later (in Plex)?

Thank you.
