Hello to all!

We wish to inform that we we have added two new possibilities to the Batch Manager of Video Splitter:
The feature is to set the same times for the saved fragment or to set the same duration of the files at the end and beginning of  the file that should not be included to the final video.

The version with new features for batch processing is available for download here:

http://solveigmm.com/files/SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_Business_Edition_6_1_1703_6_Beta.exe

To set the same start and end time of the fragment in the all files:

Please mark the tasks in Batch Manager and click the right mouse button and select “Set Start/Stop on Selected Task(s) ”

Please set the required times and they will be changed in the marked tasks within the list

To set the same duration at the beginning and the end of the file that should be deleted

For example, you have 100 files of different duration and in all of them would like to delete the first 4 seconds at the beginning and 8 seconds at the end.

You can drag and drop the files from Windows Browser to the Batch Manager without adding to Video Splitter Interface.  Further please select the files and click right mouse button and please select Shift Trimming Intervals.

Please enter the required values:

And please launch the tasks for editing

Olga Krovyakova

Hello the_fiddler,

Thank you for your question.
We will discuss this feature request with our team and possibly add it to Video Splitter's next releases.
If such feature appear, we will post here.

Thanky you.
And is it (will it be) possible to use a batch manager to cut files not one after the other but many files in one go.

For Example:
Step 1:
20 files per drag'n'drop in a batch manager

Step 2:
Define the cut markers who will be valid for all files (not individually for each file)

Step3:
execute

Hello the_fiddler!

Yes, this is already possible in Video Splitter.

Just enable the setting in Tools / Preferences / Control / Keep Project settings (intervals, selected streams) for all files within a session.
Do not forget to delete the first file from the timeline before adding the second one.

PS: I've checked this feature on the latest version and regrettably it doesn't work now. We will fix it as soon as possible. I'll write here once it will be ready.

Is it possible to cut several files at the same positions?

Description:
File-1: Cut the first 10 seconds and the last 5 seconds of the file
File-2: Cut the first 10 seconds and the last 5 seconds of the file
File-3: Cut the first 10 seconds and the last 5 seconds of the file

My wish:
Drag'n'Drop file-1 in Solveig VS, make the cut markers and save the result for file-1.
After that
Drag'n'Drop file-2 in Solveig VS, VS should use the same cut markers from file-1 and save the result for file-2.
etc.

Is this already possible in Solveig VS?
Thanks
