We are working to find out why the problem could occure.
HyperCam is compatible with Windows7 64 bits, the confirmation you can find on the Microsoft page.

Celavey, please send your logs to support(at)solveigmm(dot)com as the reason of this error could be different. Specify also on what exactly step this error appear. Screenshots of your Audio, Video, Extras settings will be also useful for us.

As Stanislav already has wrote "2.vob" file has the delay at the beginning, so this is the reason why after the joining there is the interruption.

But we have noticed the problem with audio in the "joined" place. This problem we will try to fix and will post here when there will be news.

Thank you for your questions.

1.) Can Video Splitter reduce the bitrate without having to re-encode the files with minimal quality loss?

Unfotunately Video Splitter has not such a feature to change the bitrate. It operates without using any encoding/decoding process.

2.) I have heard of problems caused by loading multiple codecs.  Are Video splitter's codecs self-contained in the program, or does it register new codecs in Win7.?

Video Splitter doesn't register the codecs that could effect on the other programs operating, it could be said that Video Splitter's codecs are self-contained.

I have checked it on both Windows XP and Windows 7 OS and have not noticed any problems with its trimming.

Do you use the latest Video Splitter version available from

Please specify the start and stop time positions were chosen for your fragment(s).

You should at first copy this file to the "Public" folder of Dropbox. Then right mouse click on this file and choose "Dropbox" ->"Copy public link".

Hello keiooz,

If you would like to update you can simply install the new version, the older version will be uninstalled while the installation process.

There is no such feature to have 2 versions installed on your PC. But you can install the older version as the portable (check "Create portable installation on removable or network disk" while installtion) and the newer as the standard, so you will have two versions.

Could you please specify what Video Splitter version do you use? You can check it in the Help -> About SolveigMM Video Splitter menu.

I've tried on this and have not noticed any problems.

If you use another version you can download the latest from the website:

If this will not help could you please send us the information from the Media Info about your file?
To get it right mouse click on your file and choose "MediaInfo", then in the opened window click on the "Save to the text file".

Open your file in the Video Splitter after the second step of this instruction.

Спасибо за Ваши предложения.

Файл, который Вы отправили действительно поврежден и, поэтому его невозможно отредактировать в Video Splitter.
Возможность обработки поврежденных файлов зависит от того в какой степени поврежден файл, поэтому некоторые из таких файлов Video Splitter обрабатывает, при значительном повреждении файла обработка невозможна.

1. Отображать на панели маркеров возможные места для разрезания файла.
Сейчас маркер устанавливается непрерывно, реально же дискретность порядка 0.3 секунды.
Сейчас неясно, приведет ли сдвижка маркера к разрезанию на новом месте или на том же самом.

Подумаем над этим предложением. Вероятно, если будут отображаться возможные места для маркеров, интерфейс получится перегруженным.  Сейчас для более удобного редактирования можно перейти в покадровый режим (Вид -> Формат времени -> Время и кадры). Последнюю 3.0 версию можно загрузить со страницы программы.

2.Более детально отображать какие неполадки обнаружены при открытии файла.
Сейчас это просто "Loaded file is corrupted". И почему-то этот файл, заново сохраненный в программе при последующем открытии в ней же иногда остаётся "corrupted". 

3. Улучшить обработку ошибок. Слегка подпорченный файл открывается в плэйерах и других подобных редакторах но иногда выдаёт ошибку при открытии в Video Splitter до "Loaded file is corrupted".

Спасибо за совет, подумаем как здесь можно усовершетсвовать работу программы.
