The problem is reproduced and will be fixed soon.
I will let you know when the update is ready.

You can avoid such crash with your current version by installing the necessary decoder. In your case it is most likely the AAC audio decoder, which can be installed as a part of a K-Lite codec pack.

Опишите, пожалуйста, подробнее вашу ошибку - при каких условиях она возникает, уточните операционную систему (судя по первому сообщению - windows XP),  если проблема с каким-то определенным файлом, пожалуйста, выложите ваш файл. Можете использовать любой сервис хранения файлов, а ссылку прислать как в личном сообщении, так и письмом на адрес support(at)solveigmm(dot)com.

Также можете попробовать более новую бета версию, загрузить которую можно по ссылкам из сообщения ниже.

VLC uses its own filters to play video. Unlike VLC, Microsoft DirectShow filter (WM ASF Reader) detects the error. We use the same filter in our video splitter so the error persists is it.

The file provided is broken. Please try to use any WMV/ASF repairing tools to fix the video, then trim it.

The problem is in the Microsoft Direct Show filters in Windows 10 used for trimming.
Currently we are trying to sort this problem out.

It would be much faster to resolve the issue if we could reproduce it.
If the file is big enough you could use any file sharing service.

Сделал, как вы сказали.
Результат тот же: выходное видео дефектное.

Кажется выяснил причину. Проблема в ffdshow декодере. Для файлов, логи от которых вы выкладывали попробуйте поставить в приоритет xvid декодер.
Для этого выберите в списке Xvid mpeg-4 video decoder, зайдите в его свойства( кнопка Show Properties ) и установите в свойствах галку Compatibility Renderer.
Далее Force selected, чтобы добавить в список приоритетных. И убедитесь, что он появился в Chosen Codecs.

При этом желательно, чтобы в настройках видео енкодера либо было отключено использование B-frame (B-VOP), либо был включен режим Packed bitstream.
