This issue appears in Video Splitter is there are no such codec installed on your computer.

Please try to install Quick Time Player available from the link below:

Добрый день, Александр!

Рада снова получить письмо от вас.
Обе проблемы воспроизвели, с проигрыванием полученного файла в Video Splitter и с зависанием полученного видео в AVS Media Player, постараемся найти решение и исправить их в ближайшее время.

Как только появится обновленная версия, я напишу в этой теме.

Здравствуйте, Андрей,

Спасибо за Вашу покупку.

Проверьте, пожалуйста, была ли установлена программа как портативная версия, после установки в  окне, открывающемся по нажатию кнопки "О программе" должна быть надпись "Portable" в названии программы.



Во время установки программы в одном из окон должна стоять галка в поле «Создать портативную инсталляцию на съемном или сетевом диске».

If you have not Windows Media Player installed on your computer such error message can appear (this happens in Windows 10 N and Windows 10 KN editions).

If there is no Windows Media Player 12 installed on your computer, please try to install Media Feature Pack it is available from the following link:

As the solution, you can try to use special software to run SolveigMM Video Splitter and other Windows applications on Mac OS, e.g. Parallels or Wine.

No, it doesn' effect the quality of output file, Video Splitter always preserves the initual quality of video files.

Попробуйте, пожалуйста, переустановить программу на версию доступную для загрузки по ссылке ниже:

Если проблема останется с этой версией, то не могли бы вы загрузить ваш исходный файл на какой-нибудь сервис передачи файлов, например, Google drive или Dropbox.com? Также пришлите, пожалуйста, файл проекта. Чтобы его получить выберите фрагменты для сохранения и перейдите в меню Файл / Сохранить проект как.

At first please try to use the version available for the download from the following link:

Please try to set another video renderer for the Playback preview in Tools / Preferences/ Playback settings / change video renderer to any alternative, e.g. EVR.
If this will not help could you please send us the screenshot of this issue and if possible please upload the original input file to any file host service, e.g. Google drive or Dropbox.com.

If the issue remains with this version, could you please upload for us original input file to any file host service, e.g. Google drive or Dropbox.com? Also please send us the project file. To get it select fragments for saving then follow to File -> Save project as.

You can try to use some additional software to change resolution of some video file.
Here you can find some useful tips on how to do that:

After that you can try to join files. Please note that all parameters including video, audio content, width, height, bitrate should be same for Join Manager can merge these files.

Hello WinstonSmith6079,

Unfortunately using our software it is not currently possible to join such files with different parameters of video/audio data.
We also have not got such feature yet to partially remove the video from the selected fragment from the file leaving its audio content. At the present time it can only completely remove video from the file with saving its audio content.
If such features appear in the Video Splitter in future, I'll post at this thread.

As soon as the feature with supporting of the rotate flag in files will be added to Video Splitter, I'll report in this thread.
