Здравствуйте, Ramzes,

Когда нет схлопнутых фрагментов, воспроизведение и пауза срабатывают мгновенно. А при наличии схлопнутых фрагментов после нажатия на Play окно предпросмотра на секунду становится чёрным и только потом начинается воспроизведение. После нажатия на паузу окно предпросмотра также на секунду становится чёрным и только потом отображается кадр. Как то это странно...

Такое поведение обусловлено наличем в версии 6 новой функции предпросмотра полученного результата до старта резки, которой не было в версии 5. К сожалению, данная странность не может быть поправлена при текущей логике работы программы, возможно в будущем, если что-то связанное с технологией работы программы изменится, мы вам сообщим.

Еще одна недоработка (для всех версий,не знаю можно ли ее излечить): при перемотке  по кадрам (по долям секунды, от одного до 24) mkv файлов с x264 иногда перемотка вперед не идет, работает только если перематывать по целым секундам, а не по соседним кадрам.

Ramzez, уточните, пожалуйста, каким способом вы осуществляете навигацию (горячие/главиши/кнопки/меню), нам было бы полезно если бы вы смогли описать в каком формате времени сделана настройка таймлайна Вид -> Формат времени). Мы были бы вам очень признательны за образец файла, на котором данная проблема у вас вопросизводится. Можно его выложить, например, на Google drive.

Ещё глюк: запускаем VS, уменьшаем ширину окна, минимизируем окно, восстанавливаем окно и, опачки!, ширина окна не та, которую я установил, а та, которая по умолчанию! И раскадровка видео начинается по новому.

Воспроизвели, поправим в ближайшее время. Большое спасибо что сообщили нам.

Thank you for your post and please excuse for the delay in answer.

The program no longer responds to alt+ function 4 to close it. There was no reason to remove this functionality. Please add it back.

The key bind section of the preferences does not work it does not register any new key bind. It is completely broken.

Thank you a lot for these notice, I've checked and you are right - we should add Alt+F4 back for closing and fix new hot key bind assign.

There is no way to get loaded files to automatically be added to the timeline like it has with all previous versions. You now have to manually drag it which makes the program more cumbersome to use. Please add an option to automatically add the file to the timeline when opened.

Please add an option to not ask to save changes when closing the program. It is even more aggressive in this new version than version 5.

I'm agree with you, sometimes this could be redundant. We will possibly add such option to dialog that shows on VS closing or add such option not to show it.

Files that open fine in version 5 are causing version 6 to hard lock when dragging them to the timeline.

Please specify what exactly files of what file format and audio/video/subtitle content cause such behaviour. It would be helpful for us if you could upload the sample file to e.g Google drive or Dropbox.com.

Most of the buttons on the main interface do not work at all. I have not tried the beta version linked in the other thread but I will probably stick with version 5 for now until the above issues are fixed. Thank you

At the present time if the file is only in "Media" list and you have not yet added it to the timeline, then the most buttons will not work until you add them to the timeline. So please let me know on what step of your usage and what buttons do not work in case of file is already placed on the timeline.

Possibly we should set automatically synchronization when only one file is added to the timeline and make changes to enable all buttons in such case. We will discuss this with team.

Space bar starts playback, but doesn't pause it--you have to click the pause button. How could you miss that?

Ok, pderocco, thank you a lot  for this, we will fix this as  soon as possible. Please excuse for these temporary inconveniences.

When configured to save the media file in the same folder that the original file came from, it saves in the folder of the previous file worked on.

Such behaviour is cased by the default setting selected in the Tools -> Preferences -> Output Files Settings
You can change setting of output folder as you like, please see possible options on the screenshot below


We will post updated versions as soon as there will be ready.

Проблемы с уровнем громкости и измененением высоты окна после перезапуска программы поправлены в версиях, доступных по следующим ссылкам:

- кнопка возле поля "Использовать маску для имени выходных файлов" не содержит текста и обрезана справа;
- кнопка "Выберите потоки" обрезана справа;

- нажав кнопку "Использовать маску для имени выходных файлов" невозможно выбрать маску например типа "[source] (cut)". После этого выпадающий список масок не исчезает даже после нажатия кнопки "ОК";

Данный формат имени с импользованием "(cut)"или подобных записей в круглых скобках, не носящих опредленную логическую нагрузку для программы, к содалению, не предусмотрена в качестве реализации в программе. Используйте, пожалуйста, стандартный предлагаемый алгоритм для названия имени файла.

- при воспроизведении громкость не соответствует установленной регулятором;

Уточните, пожалуйста, проигрываемый формат. Вы также можете прислать исходный файл, загрузив его на удобный для Вас файловый сервис передачи, например, Google drive, и скриншоты настроек звука в программе и системе на support(at)solveigmm(dot)com. Также укажите, пожалуйста, время, в которое звук не соответствует выставленной громкости. И, проверьте, пожалуйста, используете ли вы "правильный" регулятор громкости в программе. Возможно по ошибке был  использован регулятор масштаба, который расположен немного ниже регулятора громкости.

Mpeg-2 файлы стало менее плавно читать, раньше перемотка по кадрам шла лучше.

Вы имеете ввиду навигацию по кадрам в например увеличенном масштабе?
Попробуйте, пожалуйста, использовать эту  версию, в ней уже поправлено несколько багов:

Video Splitter is already supporting external SRT subtitles for the following file formats: AVI, MKV, WEBM, MP4, so you can try to use it.

Thank you for your post.

Please try at first to install K-lite Codec Pack Mega to your system:

If this will not help, please try to reinstall Video Splitter.

I recommend to try to uninstall it from your computer at first (you can use Start -> All programs -> Solveig Multimedia -> SolveigMM Video Splitter Home Edition -> Uninstall  or Windows Control Panel).

After uninstall please make sure that all files in the folders below were removed from your computer

"C:\Program Files\Solveig Multimedia\SolveigMM Video Splitter Home Edition"
and
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Solveig Multimedia"

In case of 64 bit system folders will be:

"C:\Program Files(x86)\Solveig Multimedia\SolveigMM Video Splitter Home Edition"
and
"C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Solveig Multimedia"

If there will be any files in this folders please delete them manually from these folders.

Then you could install the product again.

Yes, the support of H.265/HEVC files for Video Splitter is in our "to do" list.
Regrettably the date when it will be added is yet unknown.

When this feature appear in Video Splitter, we will post the version with this format support at this thread.
