« on: August 27, 2015, 09:23:55 PM »
Hello Kristinford2014,

Thank you for your post and please excuse for the delayed answer.

If you would like to add your logo on the video file, then regrettably Video Splitter has not got such feature at the present time.

We will possibly add it to the product's next releases and if such feature appear in the product, we will post here.

Still, how could the preview software be working and the full version not?

This is the bug of the version 5.0.1503.17. It is fixed in the current beta version 5.0.1506.30.

The guideline about how to edit subtitle streams that could be helpful for you is available here:

SolveigMM AVI Trimmer / Re: Missing audio codec

Hello chorne2k,

Thank you for your post.

I assume, your file has the PCM audio.
Regrettably this is a bug, if AVI file has DVSD video and PCM audio, there will not be audio saved.

Hello scurvysauce,

Thank you for your  post.

This task can be done via Batch console of the Video Splitter Business Edition.
Please find below the example of code of .jxtl file.

<timelines version="2" >
<timeline>
<group output="C:\Test_full.mp3">
<task type="joining" />
<track video="-1" audio="-1" >
<clip src="C:\Test_part0.mp3" />
<clip src="C:\Test_part1.mp3" />
<clip src="C:\Test_part2.mp3" />
</track>
</group>
</timeline>
<timeline>
<group output="C:\1Test_full.mp3">
<task type="joining" />
<track video="-1" audio="-1" >
<clip src="C:\1Test_part0.mp3" />
<clip src="C:\1Test_part1.mp3" />
<clip src="C:\1Test_part2.mp3" />
</track>
</group>
</timeline>
<timeline>
<group output="C:\2Test_full.mp3">
<task type="joining" />
<track video="-1" audio="-1" >

Regrettably we have got such tutorial at the present time, but here you can view how to use Batch console:

Video Splitter / Re: "Now splitting the sequence... 0%"
« on: July 20, 2015, 08:07:26 PM »
Hello MegaZero,

Could you please let us know what version of Video Splitter you use?
This can be checked in Help -> About SolveigMM.

Please try to use the beta version available for download from the following direct link:

http://www.solveigmm.com/download/SolveigMM_Video_Splitter_Home_Edition_5_0_Beta.exe

Will the issue remain with it?
If not, it would be highly appreciated if you could upload your input mkv file to any file host service, e.g. Google drive or Dropbox.com.

Thank you a lot.

Hello kshetline,

Thank you for your post.

Seems you have put the slider on the second fragment that you would like to be deleted and right clicked on the timeline to choose "Save the selected fragment as". In this case the fragment that was selected for cutting out will be saved.

If you would like to save the first fragment please move the video slider to this fragment at first (its color will be changed to orange) and right mouse click then and select "Save Selected Fragment As..." (see picture below).

If I'm wrong regarding your actions and selection, please send us screenshots of your step-by-step actions with the description.
You can send them in email to our support address (support(at)solveigmm(dot)com) or upload to any file host service.

Thank you.

Video Splitter / Re: Placing markers only on mkv
« on: June 23, 2015, 07:04:42 AM »
Hello allien,

If these fragments have the same parameters then you can join them using the Tools -> Join Manager of Video Splitter.
Please see our "How to" section of the website.

Regrettably Video Splitter doesn't save chapters after the joining and splitting at the present time, but we will possibly add such feature to its next releases.

Hi,

Yes, of cause, just place the markers, click right mouse button at the Video Splitter's timeline and select "Save all fragments as" field from the context menu or follow to "File" menu and select "Save all fragments as" field.

Please take a look at this guideline for more details:

Hello danfm,

Thank you for your post.

Could you please let me know what Video Splitter version you use at the present time?

You can check the version number at the Help -> About SolveigMM Video Splitter.

Regrettably I've not reproduced the same issue at our end with our files on the version 5.0.1503.17 and the latest beta. Could you please upload files you have tried to join to any file host service, e.g. Google drive or Dropbox.com?

Please let me know also your operating system.

Video Splitter / Re: Batch trimming a folder full of files?

Hello Epstein,

Thank you for your post.

Regrettably at the present time there is no such feature to batch process the folder of the files that is loaded to Video Splitter with the same parameters for trimming.

But this feature will be possibly added by our developers team in the next releases of the program.

Meanwhile you can use the "Keeps project settings (intervals, selected streams) for all files within a session" settings that helps to use the same time settings for all selected fragments. You can set this option in Tools menu -> Preferences -> Control panel.

If such feature appear in Video Splitter next releases, I'll post here.

Thank you.
