Could you please let us know what issue(s) with Video Splitter 3.6 you have?

Maybe this issue is already fixed in 3.7 beta version.

The date of release of Video Splitter version 4  is yet uknown.

Therefore it is hard to say at the present time if for purchases that are made at the present time will be free upgrades to version 4.

Hello remix007,

You have wrote before that the 3.7 beta version has the fix of issue with MP4 audio/video being out of sync after cutting. Is it true? You can use your current license key to register the 3.7 beta version.

If you notice that there is the bug in the purchased version of Video Splitter we will try to fix it and offer your the update of the purchased version or free upgrade to the next major verison with the fixed bug (this is defined for each specific case).

Hello bykfpuzz,

Regrettably there is not such feature to add the shortcut of Join Manager at the present time.

But as the temporary solution you can open it directly using command line mode.

1) Open Join manager and create join project file (in my case it will be List9.jxtl).
2) Delete lines with information about input and output files. It should be as below. Save it.

 <timeline>
  <group output="" >
   <task type="joining" />
   <track video="-1" audio="-1" >
   </track>
  </group>
 </timeline>
</timelines>

3) Open Far Manager program, browse to the folder with installed Video Splitter and specify the path to the Video Splitter exe file and path project file of join manager in "". In my case it will be as on the picture below:



4) Press "Enter" button.  Video Splitter with Join Manager will be opened.

The date when it will be released is yet unknown.

If there will be any updates of version 3 it will be posted on Video Splitter home page.

Thank you for your post.

The reason of the low video quality of the output file while recording with MJPEG compressor is in the compressor itself, not in HyperCam. And yes, this compressor doesn't have properties page.

Try to use another video compressor, e.g. WMVVideo 9 Encoder DMO.

but I also went here on how to get MPEG audio layer 3 audio working. It throws up an error message, and I somehow damaged the MPEG 3 Layer encoder.

Could you please let us know what error message you get?

Also, I would like to have more information on the portable, as I couldn't read it correctly.

I've not understood what you mean by "I couldn't read it correctly". Could you please specified it more detailed?

The mp42 video codec is not supported at present time. But we plan  to add such support.

Could you please help us with such file? Please upload it to any file sharing service, e.g. dropbox.com.
