The automatic interval collapsing is currently disabled, but we'll restore it in the future releases. Now you can collapse the "Cut" intervals manually by double clicking the interval or a double arrow button over the interval.

Unfortunately, I did not quite understand the first problem, could you please describe it a little more.
Regarding the second issue - when you push the Add Marker hotkey, the marker is set in the position of the mouse/gray marker when it exists on the timeline, in other cases it is set in the position of the orange slider.

Please let me explain, that you can only merge files with equal parameters. If your files have different parameters, they can not be combined. You can check the parameters of files with some third-party analyzers, or you can drop them to the Media Joiner and compare those parameters in a list.

  Уточнение: это всегда проявляется после загрузки сохранённого ранее проекта.

Проблема исправлена на одном из предыдущих релизов.
Для ее исправления на любых версиях достаточно в настройках приложения в разделе "Воспроизведение" изменить Видео Рендерер на VMR-9 или EVR.
Начиная с 7 версии можно также использовать настройку "По умолчанию".

Проблема с НЕработой клавиатурных кнопок "влево" и "вправо" после загрузки сохранённого проекта - НЕ ИСПРАВЛЕНА. Проверено на SolveigMM Video Splitter 7.0.1901.23 Business Edition.

Исправлено на последней бета-версии 7.0.1905.21 (Home 32бит,  Home 64бит, Business 32бит, Business 64бит)

I would like to clarify that Video Splitter only have the possibility to rotate the preview video. Currently it does not save the rotation that you manually applied to a preview.
I will post here if we implement saving a manually specified rotation.

В последней бета-версии (32-бит, 64-бит) была добавлена поддержка OPUS аудио в MKV файлах. Также, добавили поддержку резки VP9 видео с точностью до группы кадров.

In the latest beta (32bit 64bit) version we added an OPUS audio support to MKV files.
