Hello markjfs@gmail,

Seems you get another problem as was described by Reima.

When I look at the files in media info it looks like there is a single 12 bit 2 channel PCM (DV) audio stream.  However, when I playback in VLC it seems like there's only audio on the left channel, right channel is static.

Are you talking about output file?
If yes, could you please upload for us your original file for we could reproduce the problem on our end?
You can upload it on filedropper.com or adrive.com.
Please specify what start and stop time positions were chosen for your fragment(s). 

What version of VLC do you use?

Unfortunately can not reproduce this with our files on the recent 3.7.1302.12 version.

If you have the same problem with the file that you could send us, please upload it to any file host service, e.g. filedropper.com.
Also send us please the project file.

What version of Windows Media Player do you use?
I have not any problems with version 12.0.7601.17514. Try to update the player if you use the older version.

Unforunately we have not reproduced this problem on our side with our files on the latest beta version (3.7.1302.12).

Will you have the same problem on your end with it?

If you will reproduce it with "normal" video, could you please upload it to any file host service (e.g. dropbox.com). Please upload or send to suuport(at)solveigmm(dot)com also the project file.

Попробуйте использовать бэта версию программы с редактированием AVI с точностью до кадра.
Точность до кадра реализована пока только для кодеков DX50 и MP42.

Hello Fred101,

When using avc format in mkv container and jumping forward and backward keyframes, splitter simply doesn't jump to same frames. Jumping forward seems correct, it jumps to scene change where keyframe should be. Backwards it jumps incorrectly (it jumps at 1 sec intervals for me).

Could you please upload for us this file to any file host service (e.g. filedropper.com or dropbox.com)?

Please specify also on what time positions you navigate.

And unfortunately, even in this version I can't find a way to avoid elecard avc decoder. It simply doesn't accept ffdshow video decoder, althought it's clear that ffdshow can decode avc format. At least in MPC it does.

Yes, unfortunately for AVC video can be used at the present time only Elecard AVC decoder.

Резка AVI файлов происходит в режиме с точностью до ключевого кадра, поэтому полученный фрагмент может начинаться не с выбранного вами кадра, а с предыдущего ключевого кадра.

Не подскажите, как сделать так, что бы файлы начинались именно там, где им задано маркером?

К сожалению, редактирование с точностью до кадра не поддерживается для формата AVI.

Но если ставить маркеры начала на ключевых кадрах, то фрагмент начнется именно с того места где установлен маркер.
Для этого в меню "Управление" можно включить "Привязать курсор к предыдущему ключевому кадру" и "Привязать маркер к предыдущему ключевому кадру". А также использовать навигацию по ключевым кадрам (клавиши стрелка вправо и стрелка влево).

Do you use the latest Video Splitter version (3.6.13.01.16)? You can check the version in Help -> About  SovleigMM Video Splitter menu.

You can download this version from the direct link below:

It would be easier to locate the problem if you could send us the file which you have tried to edit. Please upload it to any file host service, e.g. filedropper.com or dropbox.com.
