Do you use the latest  2.0.1210.11 vesion of AVI Trimmer + MKV? To check the version, left click on left upper icon and select About SolveigMM AVI Trimmer...

Try to reinstall AVI Trimmer. Will it help you?
If the problem remains, could you please upload for us your file for we could reproduce the bug on our end?

Have you selected the Video Splitter main window after hot key setting in the Preferences window?

Unfortunately I've not reproduced this problem on our end.

Could you please specify what hot key value you have selected for this command?

Will you get the same problem with the beta version of Video Splitter?

Could you please upload for us this .avi file to replicate the problem on our end (you can upload it e.g to dropbox.com or filedropper.com)? 

Please send us to support(at)solveigmm(dot)com the project file. To get it please select fragments for saving/deleting in the timeline then go to File -> Save project as.

Hello rosemorris,

Thank you for your question.

Unfortunately this can happen.

The point is that if your original file was created with one muxer and Video Splitter uses the another one, the file size will be increased.

This is why the file size of the output file can be larger then the file size of the input original file.

But with our avi files I've not noticed such problem with file size increasing on the latest beta version of Video Splitter.
To be sure that this is not a bug, could you please upload for us your file to any file host service, e.g. filedropper.com or dropbox.com.

If I've undrestood you correctly fragments for saving were not selected, you just open the file and calculate then the file size. Am I right?

So schneiden für diese Formate möglicherweise nicht genau oder das Fragment kann nicht entfernt werden.
WMV-Format geschnitten mit Frame-Genauigkeit.

Sie können die Beta-Version von unserer anderen Programme SolveigMM Video Splitter mit dem Bearbeiten mit AVI-, ASF-Datein Frame-Genauigkeit probieren.

Спасибо Вам за файлы.

Резка второго фрагмента происходит действительно не точно. Это связано с тем что редактирование для кодека Sorenson Spark в настоящий момент осуществляется с точностью до группы кадров.

К сожалению, редактирование с точностью до кадра MKV с Sorensen Spark видео кодеком пока не поддерживается.

Мы возможно добавим поддержку данного кодека в будущие выпуски программы. Точное время появления поддержки Sorenson Spark пока неизвестно.

Have you maybe some user account restrictions? Do you have administrator rights? 
What is your OS? Do you have Windows XP?

Try to create new folder and select it in HyperCam settings (Video -> Output folder). Will it help you?

К сожалению проблема не воспроизводится на наших файлах. Поэтому для решения данной проблемы нам нужен исходный файл, который вы пытались редактировать.

Пожалуйста, выложите его на dropbox.com (до 2 Гб) или filedropper.com (до 5 Гб).
Также пришлите на support(at)solveigmm(dot)com или выложите на файлоообменник файл проекта (после выбора временных интервалов перейдите в меню Файл -> Cохранить проект как.)

Также уточните, пожалуйста, не совпадает у вас с маркером окончание второго фрагмента или его начало.

Заранее спасибо.

Попробуйте, пожалуйста, использовать бета версию программы, данная проблема в ней должна быть решена.

Если проблема останется на бета версии 3.7, не могли бы Вы загрузить для нас файлы, которые вы пробовали склеить на любой сервис обмена файлами, например, dropbox.com или filedropper.com.

Hello flugal,

Thank you for the porst and please excuse for the delayed answer.

I have been trying to use the program to edit flv files, the edit works, but whenever I open the video with either Media player classic, or windows media player, neither player is able to seek inside the video, in other words, I can not click on the timeline of the video and go further into the video. I can when I open the edited video inside of your editor, but not in my media players. Any clues what could cause that?

Unfortunately I have not reproduced this problem with our files, could you please upload for us your original flv file to any file host service (e.g. dropbox.com or filedropper.com)?
Please specify what start and stop time positions were chosen for your fragements or send the project file (select fragements and go to File -> Save project as).

Уточните, пожалуйста, какую версию программы вы используете? Последняя доступна по ссылке:

Установлена ли галка в меню Управление -> Точность до кадра (Умный режим) перед началом резки?
Если используется последняя 3.7.1304.1 версия и галка в указанном меню стоит, то пришлите, пожалуйста, ваш исходный файл (можно загрузить его, например, на dropbox.com или filedropper.com). Пришлите также файл проекта (после выбора временных интервалов перейдите в меню Файл -> Cохранить проект как.

The current beta version of Video Splitter saves now metadata from some files and some cameras.

Metadata saving for AVCHD files will be supported in the next releases of Video Splitter.
