When using avc format in mkv container and jumping forward and backward keyframes, splitter simply doesn't jump to same frames.
Jumping forward seems correct, it jumps to scene change where keyframe should be. Backwards it jumps incorrectly (it jumps at 1 sec intervals for me).
In avc in mp4 container I haven't yet noticed this bug.

And if I might add, your resize filter, whatever u use, is not really good. Frame in full screen is really pixelated compared to frame in MPC (especially seen around the edges). Ability to take screenshot in actual video resolution is nice since ability to zoom to actual frame size is not implemented, but at least we now have a way to take screenshot while avoiding splitter's resize filter. And unfortunately, even in this version I can't find a way to avoid elecard avc decoder. It simply doesn't accept ffdshow video decoder, althought it's clear that ffdshow can decode avc format. At least in MPC it does. And in splitter when show preffered codecs for current file's format is checked, my list (which has ffdshow in it) becomes empty and if I try to force ffdshow as preffered decoder, nothing changes.

All the best, great program.

Video Splitter / SolveigMM Video Splitter 3 - wmv writing errors
« on: April 06, 2012, 07:16:00 PM »
With new SolveigMM Video Splitter 3 (all up to ver. 3.0.1203.19) I experience corrupted wmv output files when trimming wmv even only on key frames. Don't recall ever having that problems with versions 2.xx. Errors come in a way that frame freezes for like 2 secs, in timeline video continues on, after like 2 secs frames start go on but full of random errors for the next several seconds. When repeating the trimming process and saving another media from same source wmv with exactly the same project properties (trim cuts) the errors again occur in output, but on different times. Like the splitter is making random errors while writing wmv. In a approx. 5 minutes video i get like 2-3 errors like this ( several seconds of completely corrupted frames).

It happens on all wmv files I tried. Wmv's are not currupted as a source. Tried reinstalling my video codecs, setting different codecs to decode wmv, nothing helped.

Can anyone else confirm this error?
