Video Splitter / No sounds in the first seconds of the splitted clips

Hello,
Big problem. When I split MKV videos (AC3 audio), there is no audio in the first second(s) of the splitted clip after saving it. Which is a issue for me considering that my clips are often 1-2 seconds.
Is there a solution to solve this?
