Video Splitter / What's wrong with the GIF function?

Hello,
I'm new to Solveig Video Splitter.
Sometimes it produces a gif that's unreadable. If I open the gif in Firefox,fnaf 2 it says, "The image cannot be displayed because it contains errors." And if I open the gif in an image viewer that can play animations, I only see the top two thirds of the first frame. The bottom third is missing. Anyone know what the problem is? How to solve it.
