Video Splitter / Request: Skip deleted fragments during PLAY
« on: April 26, 2013, 11:46:36 PM »
I would like to have a new play mode: Play the video, but without the deleted fragments. E.g. ctrl-space.

Additionally it would be nice to have a third play mode: Play only the last second of selected fragments and then skip the deleted fragments and play the first second of the next selected fragment, followed by the last second of the next selected fragment and so on.

If I've undrestood you correctly fragments for saving were not selected, you just open the file and calculate then the file size. Am I right?

Yes, just open and ctrl-F.

I have emailed you now with the link to an example file.

Whatever I set as the hotkey for "Save Media File As", it doesn't work. It won't do anything.

Video Splitter / Bug: Crashes on Save Media File As (3.6.1301.9)
« on: April 26, 2013, 08:53:54 PM »
1) I open an .avi
2) Mark and Cut out a short segment
3) Save Media As...
4) Hangs

Now I do the same, but do it via Project:

1. I open an .avi
2. Mark and Cut out a short segment
3. Save Project As...
4. Close Video Cutter
5. Start Video Cutter
6. Load Project
7. Save Media As...
8. Success!

I have Windows 7.

1) I open an .avi (550 MB)
2) Press ctrl-F to calculate output file size
3) 650 MB? Why the increase?

4) I save the .avi (650MB)
5) I open it with Virtualdub
6) I save with it with "Direct stream copy" (both video and audio direct stream copy)
7) Now it shrinks again to 550 MB

Something is seriously wrong.
