E-Fail error while opening the AVI

I got the same "E-Fail" error issue. 

I just downloaded the newest version from the link above, and the problem is still there.

Any other tip?

Thank you for your post. Firstly please be sure that you have installed the latest version that is 1.6.912.18, and available at the link below:

If it is the last one, please make a new test, when you get an error, just close the trimmer and try to open this file in a new instance.

Hi, I've just started to use this AVI trimmer and pretty much impressed with how easy it is to use. But after I've successfully cut a video and go on to the next video, a window pops out saying E_Fail and wouldn't open the AVI file. Which is weird because I tried to use other video files and its working fine.
Does this error indicates something wrong with my video file? And if it does, what can I do?
