automatically join parts from 2 videos

Hello buddhasolv,
Video Splitter supports the EDL files.
EDL Files can be imported in "File"-"Import EDL" menu.
If you export your project from Davinci Resolve in EDL format, and then import in in Video Splitter, it should work.

But if it wont, please send me your exported EDL project and we'll check it.

I have 2 videos (Theatrical Cut, good definition and Director's cut worse definition), the second one contains more scenes than the first one.

On Davinci Resolve I spotted the extra parts of the second video. Of each part I know its first frame and its last frame.
Of the first, however, I know in which frames the parts of the first should be embedded.

On Davinci Resolve I can create a script that extracts all the above data into an XML for example. 

Is it possible to feed Video Splitter an XML file so that it automatically creates a final file as desired ?
