Video Splitter looks like the great avi editor I have been looking for.   I am using the trial version.

When I try to open ANY file I get "Video Splitter MFC Application has stopped working."

My error message is:

"Faulting application SMMVSplitter.exe, version 1.2.705.4, time stamp 0x463dbd0f, faulting module SMMVSplitter.exe, version 1.2.705.4, time stamp 0x463dbd0f, exception code 0xc0000094, fault offset 0x0008cb1b, process id 0xe70, application start time 0x01c80ec5237ec138."

I use several other splitters and editors, and they all work fine on my avi's.

Running Vista Ultimate with Pentium D.

Any ideas?  Thanks.
