Could you please upload the sample of your file to any file host service, e.g. dropbox.com or filedropper.com

The mouse wheel is currently used for time line scaling. Use scroll bar (it is above the thumbnails) for navigating to reguired frames.

This message can appear if there is no necessary codec installed on PC.

Please try to install Huffyuv codec. You can find it and the instruction for installation at page:

Hallo SooniC,

Ja, Sie können nur der Ton aufnehmen.

Dazu muss man in den "Optionen -> Video" des Programms das Kontrollkästchen vom "Video aufnehmen" Feld  entfernen und lassen Sie das "Ton aufnahmen" Kontrollkästchen in der "Audio" Tab.

HyperCam 2 is not our product, but of Hyperionics. Their technical support is available at support(at)hyperionics(dot)com.

Please try to use HyperCam 3. Will you have the same problem?
You can download it from this link.

If yes, try to correct audio lag by following steps of this guideline.
Or try to use another video compressor (you can set it in Options/Video tab)

Please let us know what will be your result.

Thank you a lot for the reply and please excuse for delayed answer.

I’ve tested MKV, MKV with DTS audio and MTS files editing on the latest version 3. 7. 1307. 26 and unfortunately have not noticed any problems in output files with sound, hanging while trimming, skipping backwards while playback in VLC and inaccurate editing. For inaccurate editing please make sure that the Frame accuracy (Smart mode) is enabled in Control menu before editing.

Please let me know if you have problems with this version.
If the problems remain could you please upload for us samples of MKV file, MKV with DTS audio and MTS file? You can use any file host service, e.g. dropbox.com.
Please send for all these files the project files (File -> Save project as).

Also if you can reproduce hanging or crash with MKV file editing please record and send to us log files. Here is the short guideline on how to get them:

Thank you for your question.

Please open Far Manager and go to the path below (on Windows 7):
С:\Users\User name\AppData\Roaming\Solveig Multimedia\SolveigMM Video Splitter

Then open config.xtl file and delete strings for your recent files between <RecentfileList> and </RecentfileList> (highlighted in green)

   <RecentfileList>
      <file name="D:\Video\output\Source_0001.mkv"/>
   </RecentfileList>

You can delete the recent files list in the beta version of Video Splitter by selecting it in menu Files -> Recent files -> Clear History.

Уточните, пожалуйста, какую версию программы с видеорегистратора вы используете (меню Справка -> O программе)?

Проверьте, пожалуйста, не блокируется ли Video Splitter Брандмауэром Windows (в Windows 7 - Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Firewall).

Попробуйте использовать последнюю бета-версию программы, возникнет ли с ней данная проблема?

If this will not help then please try to update driver for your Plantronics Calisto Headset.

This happened due to reason that "Lock permanently" checkbox was enabled in Options -> Interface -> Pan the captured area when a mouse moving and following keys are pressed. Please disable it.

I've reproduced the crash if use Xvid and select area for recording of 1280x720. We will try to fix this in near future.

Please let me know if you have registered HyperCam 3 with your license key.
If you have ordered portable version then follow steps described in this guideline to register the product correctly.
If there will be problems with registration please send to support(at)solveigmm(dot)com your order information (first and last names, email address, company name if was specified).

Could you please specify what HyperCam version you use?
What is your operating system?

I've check this on the 3.5.1211.29 version from the website and on 3.5 beta version and I have Xvid codec in the list.

Please make sure that you have not selected "WMV" in the Options -> Output format combobox. In this case Xvid codec is hidden in the list.
If you do not see Xvid codec if "Auto", "AVI" or "ASF" is chosen then please try to install HyperCam as the standard, not portable version. Will Xvid codec appear in this list?
