Yes, opening as the admin disables this feature. This is the limitation for admin mode.

According to error message, we will try to find out the error reason whithout log files.
As the temporary solution uncheck the field "Start HyperCam 3" after installation.

Sure, you can save the join list right in the Join Manager and then load it to it and process.

Use File -> Save Join List as/Load Join List menus to fulfill this task.

Please try to use the latest version with fixed bug of Video Splitter crashing when select another video/audio stream. The bug with saving settings for output file mask was also fixed.

Thank you for your post and question.

This method of destination file size calculation is very inaccurate.
Sometimes video have several video/audio streams, but after editing it is possible to save only one video/audio track. In this case this method will not be suitable.
Also there is not always the direct dependence between the file size and duration, the outut file duration depends on the format of the container and using muxer.

As I've said before problem with locking of other programs and PC when HyperCam is opened is known and will be fixed in the future.

Also if you open HyperCam 3 as administrator then it will not be minimized to the bar.
And there is also the one condition, the Internet Explorer version should be 7 or higher.

Please try to install the latest beta version of HyperCam 3:

Please let us know if it will be possible to record with any video сompressor, not only with uncompressed video. Please specify if you have any video copresors in HyperCam list in Options -> Video -> Video compressor or do you get any error message when try to select any video compressor?
If the propblem remains then please record and send us the log files. Please take a look on this guideline to find out how to record them. 

Could you please let us know what have you tried to record. If this is something from the Internet, please give us the link.

Will the freezing and audio skipping remain with the beta version? If yes, please specify with what Video/Audio settings (you can send us screenshots as well as log files to support(at)solveigmm(dot)com).

A friend of mine, when booting Hypercam 3, all of his programs freeze, including hypercam, and stop responding. Sometimes he can get away with closing them, but other times he has to restart.
We are aware of such behaviour of HyperCam 3 on some PCs. We will fix it in future, but the exact time when this will be done is yet unknown.

Hello Phil,

Yes, this normal the behavior if you navigate through K-frames (Right/Left buttons), to navigate through frames use Ctrl+Right/Ctrl+Left.

Also for easy navigation you can zoom the timeline (use mouse wheel to shange the timeline scale) and use the bar to navigate to the needed frame.

For details see step 4 of this guideline.
