There is no the default codec, but common for AVI are XVID and DIVX, for MKV is AVC1.

Спасибо Вам за совет.
Действительно, очень полезная функция.
Возможно добавим её в будущие выпуски программы.

Пока, рекомендуем попробовать использовать визуальную шкалу времени, позволяющую выбрать начало/окончание фрагмента(ов) с точностью до кадра.
Вы можете изменять масштаб визуальной шкалы времени, например, с помощью соответствующей кнопки в области управления.



А также выбрать формат времени для шкалы в меню Вид (время-кадры и время (чч:мм:сс,мс)).

Wir haben Video Splitter in der neuen Version 3.5 veröffentlicht.

Die Haupteigenschaft der neuen Version ist die Fähigkeit, das WebM-Format zu verarbeiten.

Sie bietet dabei die gewohnt hohe Qualität der Videodaten.

Anwender werden das schnelle Verbinden und Schneiden von WebM-Daten bei Frame-Genauigkeit zu schätzen wissen.

Eine neue Maske für Dateinamen und deren automatische Erstellung erleichtert die Benennung von Dateien. Vor allem der eingebaute Batch-Manager profitiert von dieser neuen Eigenschaft, wodurch die Verarbeitung von vielen Bearbeitungsaufgaben sehr vereinfacht wird.

Hello all!

The new Video Splitter 3.5 version is released.

The main feature of the new version is ability to operate with WebM format, prepared to provide high quality of video data.

Users will appreciate the rapid WebM files joining and trimming accomplished with frame accuracy.

Besides Batch Manager with another new feature - the mask to automatically specify the name of the resulting file, will simplify the work with large volumes of editing tasks. More info please find in the press release.

Thank you for your question and please excuse for the delayed answer.

This issue can be caused by muxing proceses that include the default Microsoft Muxer.
We will try to do our best to replace it with our own. The exact time when this will be done unfortunately is unknown.
Please keep the eye on this thread.

We will possibly add such a feature to Video Splitter's next releases.

Thank you for your post.

Sure Video Splitter supports disabling of one audio or video channel if you have file with multiple audio/video streams. Just go to the Control menu and choose the required audio and video channel then perform your trimming operations.



The files that you have uploaded have one audio channel, therefore unfortunately it will be impossible using Video Splitter to remove sound recorded from microphone.

Thank you for your post and please excuse for possible inconveniences.

Actually, this is the wrong behaviour of AVI Trimmer, it should not let you save the output file with the same name as the input into one folder.

Do you use the latest version from AVI Trimmer + MKV's home page (2.0.1204.27)?
We have not reproduced the crash, but there are really some problems if the user would like to save the output to the same folder as input and under the same name.

So, if you use the latest version, could you please upload the original file for we could reproduce the crash also?
