Video Splitter / Video Splitter 3.5 with WebM frame accurate editing is released

Hello all!

The new Video Splitter 3.5 version is released.

The main feature of the new version is ability to operate with WebM format, prepared to provide high quality of video data.

Users will appreciate the rapid WebM files joining and trimming accomplished with frame accuracy.

Besides Batch Manager with another new feature - the mask to automatically specify the name of the resulting file, will simplify the work with large volumes of editing tasks. More info please find in the press release.

Thank you for your question and please excuse for the delayed answer.

This issue can be caused by muxing proceses that include the default Microsoft Muxer.
We will try to do our best to replace it with our own. The exact time when this will be done unfortunately is unknown.
Please keep the eye on this thread.

Video Splitter really discards the script command stream at present time.
We will possibly add such a feature to Video Splitter's next releases.
Unfortunately the exact date is still unknown.

Thank you for your post.

Sure Video Splitter supports disabling of one audio or video channel if you have file with multiple audio/video streams. Just go to the Control menu and choose the required audio and video channel then perform your trimming operations.



The files that you have uploaded have one audio channel, therefore unfortunately it will be impossible using Video Splitter to remove sound recorded from microphone.

Thank you for your post and please excuse for possible inconveniences.

Actually, this is the wrong behaviour of AVI Trimmer, it should not let you save the output file with the same name as the input into one folder.

Do you use the latest version from AVI Trimmer + MKV's home page (2.0.1204.27)?
We have not reproduced the crash, but there are really some problems if the user would like to save the output to the same folder as input and under the same name.

So, if you use the latest version, could you please upload the original file for we could reproduce the crash also?

Am I right that when you cut the wmv file with duration more then 1 minute, you get the output file where the audio ends after a minute?

Could you please upload your file to any file host service for we could reproduce this on our end?

Could you please upload the sample of the file with which you have noticed this problem. You can upload it to any file host service, e.g. dropbox.com or filedropper.com.

Please specify also start and stop time positions were chosen for your fragments for we could reproduce the problem on our end.
The log files will be also helpful for us.
