The editing MKV file with subtitles is like the editing of any video file in Video Splitter.

I searched and searched to find a video editor that provides frame-by-frame cutting of MKV or other video files that contain text-based subtitles (srt/ass,etc). I was assured by Solveig advertising that this (non-avi) Video Splitter would do just that.

However, I can find no documentation anywhere about how to do this. Please either explain that in your replies or direct me to someplace I can find that info. If this can only be done with files that contain permanent, embedded subtitles, this application is utter garbage! I have at least a dozen apps that will do that already, including quite a few open-source/freeware tools!

If your tool doesn't do this with MKV files or the equivalent, I want my money back.
